 Please be advised that you may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees) if you materially misrepresent that material or activity is infringing.

You are required to consider the possible fair use implications, as a result of Lenz v. Universal. 

We reserve the right to challenge abuses of the DMCA process, and your use of your submission does not waive that right.

Upon receipt of a valid and complete notice, we will remove the material and make a good faith attempt to contact the user who uploaded the material by email. Here’s a summary of our DMCA complaint process.

• We review the claims submitted by the Copyright Holder or Legal Representative.
• We notify the Web Property Owner (WPO) and reply to the Copyright Holder or Legal Representative to let him or her know we’ve taken action.
• If the notice is complete and valid, then we remove the content. However, in many cases, the WPO works with our Technicians to remove or replace the content in question.  
• Self-Service Domain Name Owners who use our Website Builders and Templates will usually remove or replace the content in question with no further action from us.

 Any submission of a copyright complaint must include a combination of a link to the original materials in combination with a description of what materials or an upload of the content that is being infringed upon.

Link to infringing material -- A direct link to the webpage or webpages where the infringing materials can be found is required in order to positively confirm its presence. 

A link to the domain alone (unless the materials are featured on the main page) will not be sufficient. If the infringing materials appear on more than one webpage on the Web Property, we require that you include links to as many webpages as possible so that we may ensure the removal of the materials.
