Reinstating your Hosting Account

You only need reinstating if your account has suspended and/or terminated for any reason. Methods of reinstating your hosting account depends on the reason your account is inactive.

1. My account was suspended due to non-payment
2. My account was suspended due to to policy violations
3. My account was suspended upon your request
4. My account was suspended due to security reasons
5. My account was suspended due to abuse
6. My account was terminated due to policy violations
7. My account was terminated due to 90 day cancellation policy


My account was suspended due to non-payment

If your account is suspended due to non-payment and it has been less than 90 days, you still have the option to reinstate your account. To reinstate your account, you would first have to pay up any past due fees and pay the reinstatement fee of $15.00. You are also required to pay 3 months in advance in order for your hosting plan to be live again on the net. The advancement pay is not set forth for punishment, but to help keep the account current so that you don't run into this issue again. It is better to suspend it for a period of time by requesting a suspension then to be suspended due to non-payment.

My account was suspended due to to policy violations

If your account is suspended due to policy violations, depending on what that violation was, you may or may not be able to reinstate with us. Please contact us so that we can review your suspension to determine if we will reactivate your account or terminate it.

My account was suspended upon your request

If your account is suspended because you requested it to be for a period of time AND we approved it, your account will automatically restore on the date that you requested. If your account is not restored at the requested time, contact us immediately so that we can get you up and running. Don't forget that we require your GriotSites ID to make any changes on your account. This is set in place as an extra security measure on your account. 

My account was suspended due to security reasons

We do what we can to keep your account(s) safe. If we suspect that your account has been compromised and you have not responded to the "security alert" emails (you will receive 3 within 10 days), we will automatically suspend the account until the security breech is rectified. Please note that their is a $15 restoration fee so make sure you respond to all emails by GriotSites.com.  Also, make sure we are on your "safe list" so that our emails won't end up in the spam box.
